Organization and Participants

The conference will be jointly organized by the Chair of Services Management at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, IBM Deutschland GmbH and Siemens Business Services. It is a part of the German Partner für Innovation (“Partners for Innovation”) initiative.

Participation will be by invitation only. The organizing committee strives to bring together a balanced mix of theorists and practitioners from academia, industry and public administration. Speakers include among others Dr. Jim Spohrer of IBM's Almaden Research Center, Prof. Bernd Stauss of the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (Germany's first Services Management Chair), Prof. Dieter Spath (Head of IAT and IAO), Uwe Hermann (Head of Center for Knowledge Interchange, Siemens AG), Matthias Hartmann (Member of the Board of IBM Deutschland GmbH, Business Consulting Services Germany), and Dr. Burkhard Schwenker (CEO of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants).
